Spring Break Camps

Looking for something to do during the Spring break?  The Randall Museum is offering exciting Spring Break Camps this year.

RANDALL CLAY CLUB SPRING EXPERIENCE

This week-long class is a great opportunity for kids to try the tactile process of ceramics.  Students will be inspired from various projects themed around the celebrations of spring, such as a ceramic bird house, a planter for greener Earth, and a clay self-portrait as a spring animal.  Projects will stimulate kids' imaginations, while engaging the discovery of the concept of self, family/friends and community relationshps to our natural, urban and cultural environments.  Coil, slab and pinch methods, plus a wide range of decoration techniques with colors, glazes and textures will be covered.  While the instructor will facilitate a safe and supportive learning environment, the projects are desgined for the club cubs to learn problem-solving, experience positive peer relationships and, above all, discover the joy of self-expression.  Camp time is 1 - 3 p.m. each day.  Sorry, there are no early drop-offs or late pickups.
