Riding the Rails
Come visit Riding the Rails,
the Museum's recently completed scale model of a caboose. Children can climb
on it and pretend to be riding the rails. Now open is also an urban rail exhibit with models of San Francisco landmark buildings where visitors can guide
model trains on railroad tracks.
Also explore a relief passenger car with interactive panels about the Transcontinental Railway. Riding the Rails will be on
permanent display in the lobby entrance of the Golden Gate Model Railroad.
