Caution: Nature at Work
This winter's heavy rains have been hard at work on the hill overlooking the Randall Museum's parking lot, with sometimes spectacular results! Several significant rockfalls have required that we close the portion of our parking lot adjacent to the hill. City crews are working diligently both to clean up the slides as they occur and to evaluate the hill for stabilization options.
Please help keep yourself and your vehicle safe by not entering the rockfall area and not parking in or adjacent to the marked area. Also, with parking limited by the rockfalls, please consider carpooling or taking public transportation to the museum if at all possible, or if you do drive, please be patient and allow time to find parking elsewhere in the area if the lot is full. Cars have been ticketed and towed for parking illegally at the borders of the lot; please observe normal parking laws and posted signs to avoid this. Thank you!
